Liverpool fans have been slamming Takumi Minamino for his performance against Wolves on Thursday.
Indeed, the January signing made his debut for the Reds at the expense of Sadio Mane, who went off injured.

The 25-year-old, who is valued at £11.25 million (as per Transfermarkt), made his Premier League debut in the midweek win after replacing Sadio Mane who went off injured in the first half. For his performance in the game, WhoScored gave Minamino a match rating of 6.3. After the match had ended, a number of Liverpool fans took to Twitter to share their negative thoughts on Minamino’s display.

What do we think?
With Wolves pushing for a European spot in the Premier League table, playing against them would be a tough ask for Minamino in his first taste of Premier League action. The hope for Liverpool fans now is thra Minamino can use this debut to gather up a feel for the top tier of English football so he can improve further.
