Liverpool fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest comments made by Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page that included an article from the Liverpool Echo relaying quotes from Solskjaer made in a recent press conference.
Solskjaer compared himself to Reds manager Jurgen Klopp by stating that the German “spent four years building his team.”
Is Solskjaer right to compare himself to Klopp?
Yes
No
The Norwegian took over at the Manchester club back in December 2018 (per Transfermarkt). In his first full campaign as United boss, Solskjaer’s Red Devils currently find themselves in fifth place in the Premier League table, having won nine, drawn seven and lost eight games so far this season (per BBC Sport).
This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to react to this recent mention of Klopp from the United boss.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to Solskjaer’s comments:
What a deluded fool. Picking United as a project to get better with the experience of getting Cardiff relegated is career suicide. At least Klopp got the team he played for promoted, let alone winning two Bundesligas with an average Dortmund.

What do we think?
It seems as though most Liverpool fans think Solskjaer comparing his current position to where Klopp was in his early Liverpool career is ridiculous. These comments have just delivered the Liverpool fans another opportunity to turn their focus to their rivals and mock them.
