Some Celtic fans have been giving their opinion about the latest transfer update involving the club’s January transfer Tyrese Campbell.
The Stoke City striker reportedly prefers a move to their arch-rivals over a move to Parkhead, with the Daily Record claiming that the Hoops are now no longer in the race for the young striker. The report goes onto claim that Campbell has already informed Stoke about his preference this month.

Celtic have already signed a striker in the ongoing January transfer window. The Polish striker Patryk Klimala has already joined for a fee of £3.4 million, having signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
As for Campbell, the youngster has made 22 appearances in all competitions for the club’s first-team. He has scored five goals, also picking up one assist on the way. He has also made two appearances in the Premier League 2, scoring as many as four goals.
Campbell was on loan at Shrewsbury last season in League One. He made 15 appearances in the league, also scoring five times for them. He also made three appearances for Stoke in the Championship, but couldn’t score a goal.
What do we think?
If Campbell isn’t interested in Celtic, the Hoops fans can forget about him as soon as possible. They’ve already signed a striker and losing out on Campbell isn’t something they will regret.
