These Liverpool fans have been reacting to the latest rumours surrounding Norwich’s Todd Cantwell.
The rumour has come from The Athletic writer David Ornstein’s podcast [Ornstein and Chapman podcast, 7th January 2020], but this was relayed to these Liverpool fans via Anfield Edition.
Cantwell has played 21 matches for Norwich in the Premier League, scoring six goals and assisting two times. These are decent stats for just a 21-year-old midfielder and if Cantwell was playing in the same quality as Liverpool, you would expect these numbers to skyrocket.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Todd Cantwell potentially coming to Anfield:

Would you like to see Todd Cantwell join Liverpool?
Yes
No
Norwich will likely make a huge profit on the young Englishman, with Cantwell making his way up the academy ranks at Norwich, starting out in the U18′ and U23’s before playing for the first team.
Replacement for Lallana

I actually rate him quiet highly, whilst he isn’t the finished article and wouldn’t make the starting 11 I think he has masses of potential and under klopp, he would be brilliant. https://t.co/y04nE7Nzfp

What Do We Think?
This seems like it could be a very decent signing for Liverpool, as long as the price isn’t too out of this world considering he may have to fight for his spot in the first team.
If we were in control of the Liverpool transfers we would definitely sign him, scoring six Premier League goals from the midfield at just 21 years of age can’t be overlooked, making Cantwell one to definitely keep an eye on.
