How many academy players would you like to be involved against Brighton and Hove Albion?01-34-78+ |
Following the 1-0 defeat in the Merseyside derby in the FA Cup, in which Liverpool fielded a young, second-string lineup, the delight could have appeared like relief that first-teamers may be displaced.
Please have some young players- anyone- play instead of Siggurdsson or Schneiderlin on Saturday

Bout time we had this. Sure it’s all nice to grab the PL2 trophies, but no point in the academy if they still aren’t strong enough to progress to the first team level.

What do we think?
As some supporters mentioned, while the club has an academy, they may as well use it. They can be a great source of first-team players when used intelligently and can provide the club with big profits should a youngster make it.
