Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest transfer update on Xherdan Shaqiri.
This comes after Liverpool journalist James Pearce shared a post on his official page revealing that the Reds would be willing to sell the Swiss international for €30 million (£25.48 million) in the summer.
Should Liverpool keep or sell Shaqiri in the summer transfer window?
Keep him
Sell him
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to voice their opinions on the summer price tag.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to Pearce’s post:
A number of fans even mentioned Michael Edwards, presuming that he is the man behind the apparent €30 million (£25.48 million) price tag that has been placed on Xherdan Shaqiri. Of course, it’s still a long way until the summer but Edwards has been known to complete a number of brilliant sales in the past, including Dominic Solanke and Jordan Ibe, who left for £19 million and £15 million respectively.
Bringing Shaqiri in for 13 million and selling for 30. Michael Edwards is a genius https://t.co/msK8rl9wTS

The Swiss international has only made six Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side out of a possible 23 games so far this season (per Transfermarkt). Now that news has emerged that Shaqiri could be out the door at the end of the season, some Liverpool fans have been discussing the idea on Twitter.

What do we think?
If Shaqiri can leave Liverpool at the end of the season and find a team where he can play regular football, that would surely be better than being a rotational player at Anfield.
