These Liverpool fans were slating Barcelona’s Luis Suarez after the Reds posted a happy birthday message.
Suarez played 133 matches for Liverpool, scoring 82 goals and assisting 47 times. These are truly outstanding stats, so it’s no surprise that the Reds sent out a happy birthday tweet to the Barcelona man (Transfermarkt).
He has scored 11 goals in 15 La Liga starts so far this season (WhoScored).
However, the vast majority of the Reds fans were unhappy to see Suarez even feature on the Reds’ Twitter account.
Here are some of the comments from the Liverpool fans on Twitter:

Would you like to see Luis Suarez re-join Liverpool?
Yes
No
Suarez is currently in very good form, averaging a WhoScored rating of 7.56/10 in La Liga (WhoScored). Would these Liverpool fans fancy having him back? It sure seems the majority of the Anfield faithful don’t want anything to do with him anymore, which could be down to his behaviour last season.

What Do We Think?
With Suarez now 33-years-old, maybe it’s a little bit too late to be suggesting a return, but nobody can deny that when he was at Liverpool, Suarez was a massive success. The 33-year-old seems to still be enjoying life at Barcelona considering how good his current average WhoScored rating is for the Catalan giants, and it appears if Liverpool fans certainly don’t want him to step foot inside Anfield.
