These Liverpool fans are fuming with the latest injury updates on James Milner and Naby Keita ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur clash.
When Jurgen Klopp was speaking to the media at the Liverpool press conference ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur clash, the manager stated: “James and Naby are not available. Both are muscle injuries, different and for different people, so we see how quick they will be.” This negative injury news was later relayed to these Reds fans via Liverpool’s official Twitter account.
Milner last played nine minutes against Everton on 5th January, whereas Keita hasn’t played since 29th December against Wolves.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about the injury update on Twitter:
#LFC will be without James Milner and Naby Keita for the trip to @SpursOfficial this weekend… #TOTLIVhttps://t.co/Wz6X2QlxAm

Keita is another sturridge. Quicker we get rid of him the better. All the talent in the world but a walking injury.

Will Liverpool drop points because of these injuries?
Yes
No
Klopp gave as much insight as possible into the time frames for their returns, when saying: “We really don’t have to put a timeframe on it because we don’t know it exactly. We will see, we are open and whenever they want to join us again, they can – or when the medical department gives the green light. For sure, not for this weekend, not for next week, but then we will see.”
One thing that is certain, is the fact that these Liverpool fans will clearly miss both James Milner and Naby Keita, although one fan clearly appears to be getting frustrated with the injuries the Guinea international frequently seems to pick up (per TransferMarkt).
NOOOOOOO

What Do We Think?
This is clearly going to be a blow for Liverpool, but just how impactful it’ll be is unknown. James Milner may be the biggest concern as he has played 16 Premier League matches this season, so he’s been favoured by Jurgen Klopp, to say the least. We don’t think fans need to panic too much, but if the league results start slipping, this could be a reason why.
