Supporters of Liverpool have reacted to Bobby Duncan’s impending loan move from Fiorentina to League One side, Sunderland.

According to the Athletic’s James Pearce who shares the Athletic’s transfer chat, the former Reds youngster ‘is set to join Sunderland on loan’ from his current Serie A side, which had some fans slating the 18-year-old.

Should Bobby Duncan have stayed with Liverpool?

The former Anfield youngster departed Merseyside for a £1.8-million fee over the summer amid claims of ‘mental bullying’ during his time with the Reds (as per The Guardian).

However, the 18-year-old forward has not yet featured for his new club’s first team and solely Fiorentina’s second team (per Transfermarkt), which was the route of Liverpool fans’ slating.

What do we think?

Considering that the lad is just an 18-year-old and left the club under the claims of ‘mental bullying’ the response from Liverpool fans seems pretty harsh.

Yes, he left the Reds on seemingly bad terms, but he is a young lad trying to make his career in football. Just because he left Liverpool and fans are not happy about it, does not mean that he should be treated with such little respect.
