A lot of Newcastle United fans are furious to hear that Crystal Palace have agreed a fee for one of their top targets Jarrod Bowen.
The Toon supposedly made an offer of £12m plus add-ons last week, but that was rejected; however, it seems that the Eagles have agreed a fee for the 23-year-old that, according to Craig Hope is £16m plus add-ons.
Will Bowen end up at Palace?
Yes, they have agreed a fee
No, Newcastle could still get him
It is fair to say that this news has not gone down well on Twitter with many Toon fans who are furious that they are going to miss out on Bowen to Palace.

I thought the stumbling block was the £22m price tag? If £16m has been agreed then why aren’t Newcastle in for him?

£16m for a lad potentially as good as Maddison and we’re being outfoxed by Crystal Palace and their 105 year old manager. Pathetic #nufc

What do we think?
Half of the Premier League have scouted Bowen, but it was believed that the Toon would make a move for the Hull City star as Steve Bruce saw him as a top target.
Bowen has scored 16 goals this season for the Tigers and has been extensively scouted by Newcastle.
However, it looks like he will now end up at Selhurst Park rather than at St James’ Park.
Bowen deserves his chance in the Premier League, but he could have been a superb signing for the Toon, but instead, it looks like he will become a Palace player.
