Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has told the supporters there is a ‘great chance’ midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could return to the squad for the fixture versus West Ham on Wednesday evening.
The Nigerian has not featured since the 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic at the beginning of the month and was expected to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines after it was confirmed he would need an operation on his knee.
Speaking about Ndidi, Rodgers described him as ‘phenomenal’ and knows it will be a ‘huge boost’ for his side this week. The 46-year-old was quick to point out that he wouldn’t take any unnecessary risks regarding his midfield mans fitness and it seems the fans agree.
Would you like to see Ndidi feature versus West Ham?

What do we think?
With the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final to come next week versus Aston Villa followed closely by the visit of fourth-placed Chelsea, it would be foolish to take such a huge gamble on the 23-year-old’s fitness.
Although the mood around the club might be somewhat downbeat at the moment with their current poor form, the Foxes remain in both domestic cup competitions and have a real opportunity to secure Champions League football once again.
