Supporters of Everton have reacted to the latest transfer rumour surrounding the club’s interest in signing Everton Soares.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL, the Toffees still have an interest in signing the Gremio man and have held talks with the club over a move (via The Gwladys Street), however, some fans were not keen.

Highly unlikely. We dont need another winger that needs developing. Our midfield is championship level, we have 3 Centre backs, and a RB. Id like to see us chasing a midfielder or two before another winger

I still won’t believe a deal is possible in our financial position. A loan deal would be the only option and Gremio need the funds as they’re in financial trouble themselves. ?????

If true – this deal is destined for failure!

Would you like to see Everton sign Everton Soares or are reinforcements needed elsewhere first?Reinforcements are needed elsewhere firstSign him up, looks like a really good talent |
Over the course of the Brazilian Serie A season, the 23-year-old winger featured in 30 league games, in which he bagged 11 goals and five assists (as per Transfermarkt).
He also backed up his impressive league form with four goals and two assists in 11 Copa Libertadores outings (per Transfermarkt), leaving other Everton supporters keen for the club’s namesake to be signing on the dotted line.

What do we think?
With an impressive 22 goal involvements tally in 41 games for Gremio over the 2019 Serie A season (as per Transfermarkt), the 23-year-old attacker, who is valued at £31.5 million (Transfermarkt), seems like quite the talent.
Due to Gremio’s reported financial troubles, the player may also be available on the, relative, cheap. Anywhere below his £31.5-million market value would likely represent a good deal for the Toffees due to him having three years left on his contract (per Transfermarkt).
