Of the four, who was the worst signing of the Steve Walsh era?Gylfi SigurdssonMichael KeaneCenk TosunSandro Ramirez |
The football scout was sacked by the Toffees in May 2018 and was replaced by the club’s current director of football, Marcel Brands (as per The Telegraph).
Since his sacking, Walsh launched a tirade on the club recently, slamming them for not backing him on some big-name signings (via Liverpool Echo), however, fans were still furious over his dealings.

How do you buy a striker for £5m and pay him £100k a week?

What do we think?
As shown in the posts, some of the players signed in the Walsh era were given extortionate contracts compared to their signing fees, which has left many to rightly question what was going on.
With Brands and Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, supporters will be hoping that much more sensible spending goes on in future and that some players left over from the previous era get shipped out.
