These West Brom fans have been discussing Chris Brunt after the Baggies official Twitter account tweeted out an appreciation post.
Chris Brunt has only played four matches in the Championship this season, but despite this, many of these West Brom fans would be sad to see him go. The Northern Ireland international is now 35 years old and the midfielder’s contract is set to expire on 30th June 2020.
Here’s what the West Brom fans had to say about Chris Brunt after the Baggies’ tweet:
Three decades. Only one Chris Brunt. ?? pic.twitter.com/OcQpT0XZJ7

Guess you’re preparing us for the goodbye tweet?

DO NOT let this happen

Absolute genius, a club legend

Great servant to our club. This feels like we are going to be saying farewell very soon

Would you be sad if Chris Brunt left West Brom?
Yes, he's a legend!
Nope, he's old news now!
Brunt joined West Brom from Sheffield Wednesday all the way back in August 2007. The fee paid was a tiny £3.38m, which looks great value considering the years Albion has had with the 35-year-old.
Don’t do this Albion. Don’t tell me he’s off 🙁

That’s Brunt gone then

What Do We Think?
We would be very surprised if Chris Brunt left West Brom for a rival team in the Championship, but with the 35-year-old’s contract running out in June 2020, it would seem fitting for Brunt to retire with the Baggies after all these years at the club during the ups and downs.
