Everton midfielder Andre Gomes is back training with the rest of the squad just 86 days after suffering a horrific injury versus Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park.
The Portuguese international will have been sorely missed and the footage of him back in action alongside his team-mates has been met with joy by the club’s supporters after they shared a video of him on their Twitter account.

What do we think?
Andre Gomes only managed eight Premier League appearances this season before he was sidelined. The 26-year-old has played 38 times for the club to date and was, arguably, just starting to show some of his best form prior to the injury.
Although an accurate return date has not been set for the 26-year-old, his sooner than anticipated return could have an impact on the club’s transfer plans this month. Everton are currently in 12th place in the Premier League, therefore, this season is probably very much about Carlo Ancelotti finding his feet with a view to challenging for a European place in the new campaign.
Seeing Andre Gomes is pretty unbelievable, especially given how serious his injury was deemed to be.
