Supporters of Everton have slated Jordan Pickford after footage of a save was posted to Twitter from the 1-1 draw with West Ham United.
Following the game, footage of a save made by the Englishman was shared intending to praise the goalkeeper (via Toffee TV), however, it only resulted in a slam for the 25-year-old.
Fantastic save from Pickford this, right on half time. ?? https://t.co/HcbXRTlNvP

Made it look a lot better than it was imo. I’d be disappointed if it had gone in. Didn’t really have to move.

He gets paid to make saves, shame he hasn’t done it all season.

Are you impressed by Jordan Pickford's save against West Ham or did he make a meal of it?Impressed, quality goalkeepingUnimpressed, made a meal of it |
During this season, the stopper has kept eight clean sheets in 28 games in all competitions for the Toffees, however, has conceded 33 goals in the 20 games without a clean sheet (as per Transfermarkt).
To add further fuel to fans’ fires, Pickford has picked up a weak 6.47/10 average rating for the season so far (as per WhoScored), leaving many unhappy with the England international.
One for the cameras. He didn’t need to dive. I honestly think a top GK would have comfortably caught it.

Should of caught it ?

What do we think?
With the speed at which he had to react to prevent the ball from going in the goal, it is a little much to expect the stopper to have caught the effort at his goal.
However, Pickford has been below his best so far this season and as many fans have suggested, he should be doing better. The save against West Ham, mind, was definitely an impressive one.
