Andros Townsend has been out of action for the better part of a month now. He hasn’t featured in a Crystal Palace game since the club’s Premier League match against Watford on December 7, 2019. A site called premierinjuries.com claims that Townsend is out with a groin/hip/pelvic injury and is set to return for the club’s match against Newcastle on February 2, 2020.
But this week the player posted a tweet that indicated he was back training already. While the photo shows him in the gym, not on the field, it is a positive sign for Crystal Palace fans. Upon seeing the photo, fans were excited. They think he will have a lot to offer the team upon his return. His spark has been missed greatly.
Hope you recover soon Andros, we miss you ???

Some fans claim his presence will be just as good as a new signing.
Getting you back is like a brand new signing speedy recovery Andros!

What do we think?
While fans want to see the player return as quickly as possible, they will be cautious not to bring him back too soon. Should he rush the return, it could put him out of action for even longer than he currently is.
