It was a huge win for Sunderland on the weekend after his team beat Doncaster 2-1 in the league. The away win was a must-win for Phil Parkinson who has faced an incredible amount of criticism for his start at the club. The win was only his third in 15 games for the Black Cats (WhoScored.com).
But the win hasn’t changed many fans perceptions of him. They aren’t convinced that he is the man to bring the team forward, and one win doesn’t make up for all the failures he’s faced to date. After he featured in a post-match interview, one supporter demanded that the club moves on from the manager, while another feels that Parkinson took a slight dig at the fans.
Well done to fans and players. But this man is still a clown. Get him out

There’s a definite dig at the fans from PP in there like.
The suggestion that the away fans aren’t always behind the lads is a disgrace.
Just leave.

Does the Doncaster win change your perception of Phil Parkinson?
Yes
No
In another post, the club showed Parkinson applauding the fans after the game. The supporters question why he only applauds the fans after a victory.
So PP only applauds the fans when we win ? What happened against Bolton ? He went straight down the tunnel

What do we think?
The fans would be wise not to get carried away with the win. There is still lots of work to do before consistent results come their way. If Parkinson stays for the remainder of the season he will have to significantly raise the standards that have been set over the last few months.
