With so many players performing well for Steven Gerrard’s side, it is difficult for him to fit every player into his lineup. This is great news for Rangers fans who are starting to see their team compete for the league again. But with the starting eleven doing so well, there are some players who are being forgotten about.
One Rangers fan account suggested that Gerrard’s opinion of Greg Docherty suggests that he could be shipped out of the club. According to the account, Gerrard highly rates the player but doesn’t think he can possibly get ahead of Ryan Jack. For that reason, he could be off in January for roughly £400,000.
Other fans weren’t convinced that the club should try and offload the midfielder in the winter. They think his value will rise in the summer.
Loan him out to the end of the season so his valuation goes up a bit.
Get 1mil+a sell on clause in the summer would be a good bit of business for the club.
Wish the lad well!

Prefer jst to loan him out again as I think kamara will b away in January or the summer… Wldnt take anything less than £750k as we paid just under that and he’s a far better player now…. Would want a big sell on percentage too … Obviously jst my opinion…..

Selling in January would lower the price keep him until the summer try maximise income it’s a shame but he just isn’t good enough sadly

Can Rangers get more money for Docherty in the summer?
Yes
No
Another group of fans don’t think £400,000 is enough. They would like to see the club try and get the same money that they paid for him, at least.
Should get what we paid. He has a good rep south of the border

That’s our problem, why settle for 400k? We could easily get back at lest the amount we paid for him

Why the low ball valuation? We paid £650k. Should be looking for £1m+ from a Championship team.

What do we think?
It is a huge compliment to Jack that he is undroppable in the eyes of Gerrard. Unfortunately for Docherty, however, it could mean that his time at Ibrox is coming to an end.
