Aston Villa fans have been calling for Jonathan Kodjia to leave Villa Park in the upcoming January transfer window.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page asking their followers if they think Kodjia should move away in January.
This post also mentioned that reports have claimed that Kodjia will not extend his contract at Villa Park.
This post then gathered some replies from Villa fans who think it’s time for the 30-year-old to leave the club.
Should Jonathan Kodjia leave Villa in January?
Yes, let him leave
No, keep him
Here’s a sample of Villa fans wanting to see Kodjia leave in January:
Yes. He’s 30, probably on relatively high wages given when he signed, & isn’t really a team player. Time for him to move on.

The centre-forward has only fallen behind summer signing Wesley as Dean Smith’s first-choice striker in the Premier League for Villa. The striker has only registered 41 minutes of Premier League action in three appearances off the substitutes bench this season (per TransferMarkt).
Despite starting and scoring a brace in Villa’s 5-0 win over Liverpool in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, some Villa fans still think Kodjia should leave the club next month.
Absolutely never been same since Injury sad but true

What do we think?
If Kodjia isn’t going to get regular football at Villa, maybe the best move for the player would be to move away from the club in January, but it comes as some surprise that fans aren’t willing to put their faith in him after his brace.
Of course, with Wesley and Keinan Davis the only other two strikers at Villa’s disposal, it would be a very brave move to let Kodjia go without bringing in a replacement.
