With January just around the corner, some fans are discussing potential transfers to bring into the club. But with there being a plethora of players available for Rangers to bring in, there are obviously going to be a handful of players shipped off to other teams in the process. One of the players who is being rumoured to leave the club is Jamie Murphy.
The winger hasn’t had a decent run in the team for a while now and some fans don’t think he has much of a future at the club. They reckon that injuries have ruined his chances of extending his time at Ibrox.
I think the injury set him back and as time went on we’ve improve quality wise and he’s been left behind at the moment wingers is a place we need to improve on ASAP and we’ve no time to wait around for a player to return to their former form as we’re in a title race

Half Decent player but I feel we’re now at the point we want to aim higher. I just dont see him being able to get into starting 11 so it’s time to move him on.

Folk saying he’s not upto standard anymore hasn’t had much game time recently. Hopefully he decides a loan move 2ns half of season to go and prove his worth. If not all the best watp

Injury has ruined his rangers career. Didn’t want to go out on loan in summer but it’s obvious he’s no longer at standard required. We only really have 2 quality wide men, which is worrying

Do you think Murphy's time at Rangers is over?
Yes
No
Some fans think Murphy was the club’s best player a while ago. Another wants to see him given another chance before letting him go.
Was probably our best player and on unreal form before his injury! But i agree think hes just not of the standard required anymore

Better than barker and ojo should at least be on the bench and given a shot , he was one of our best players at one point .. gutted if he leaves to go out on loan as I know how much of a rangers fan he is

Would like to see Jamie Murphy getting a few games before thinking of ditching him

What do we think?
It appears that fans are ready to admit that Murphy must move on. Their opinions, while regrettable, are based on facts. He can’t get into the team, and it’s time for him to move on.
