A lot of Everton fans love Anthony Gordon’s tweet about going from idolising Leighton Baines to playing in the same team as him.
The 18-year-old forward posted a picture of himself meeting Baines when he was only 11, and seven years later, he got to play with the club legend that is Baines.
Will Gordon be a success at Everton?
Yes, clearly a talented player
No, too early to judge
This post has delighted many Toffees fans.

What do we think?
This is an example of dreams coming true.
Gordon, a lifelong Evertonian, not only played for his boyhood club, but he also got to feature alongside his idol Baines.
This was the 18-year-old’s home debut, and though he only featured for six minutes, it is something he will never forget.
Duncan Ferguson decided to hand Gordon some game time after he impressed for Everton’s youth side with six goals and two assists in nine appearances.
These are good numbers for an attacking player just breaking through, and many Toffees supporters will be hoping that he goes on to have a good career.
