Rangers fans were treated to some good news this week after beating Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. On Saturday, youth right-back Nathan Patterson put pen to paper and signed a new deal with the Gers. The deal keeps him at the club until the summer of 2022 (Rangers).
Patterson has been rumoured to be the long-term replacement of current right-back, and captain, James Tavernier. When news broke that he had committed to the club, fans quickly responded to the tweet. They fully expect him to be playing in the first-team in the not so distant future.
Excellent news, a young player with huge potential.
