Despite winning the match 2-0, Rangers fans thought their team could have had another goal if the referee was aware of a foul on Alfredo Morelos in the box. Fans saw Bevis Mugabi clamber through the back of the Colombian without any call. Later in the game, Morelos was sent off after celebrating a goal in front of the Motherwell supporters.
Fans couldn’t believe the poor decisions made by the referee, and after highlights of Mugabi’s challenge was shown on Twitter, the supporters began to discuss the inconsistencies in the officiating in Scotland. They think that if any other player had been tackled the same way a penalty would have been awarded.
Do you think there is an agenda against Morelos in Scotland?
Yes
No
Ref misses this but not a red for Morelos. Sums up Scottish football

So do we just accept it and get on with it like we normally do, or do we finally call out how dreadful the officials are in Scotland? It seems to be happening far too often, especially towards the same club. @shinjukushug

One fan calls out the linesman. He demands to know why he wasn’t able to help out the referee and make the call himself.
Even the linesman could have gave that, awful refereeing once again.

What do we think?
Fans have clearly observed a bias against Morelos, and they aren’t willing to let it go. Luckily for the Gers, the team managed to win without the support of the referee.
