Liverpool fans have been calling for on-loan midfielder Marko Grujic to be given a chance in Jurgen Klopp’s squad next year.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their page relaying quotes made by the midfielder, originally sourced from TalkSport.
This post then gathered many replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their opinions on the on-loan man.
Should Marko Grujic be in the Liverpool squad next year?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans hoping to see Grujic at Anfield next season:
He should play for LFC, get rid of lallana asap, too many injuries and Cruyff turns no good for us

Hope he gets the chance.

He is the perfect backup for fabinho

The 23-year-old central midfielder, who is currently valued at £18 million, according to Transfermarkt, is currently on a season-long loan deal at Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. In his 37 overall appearances for the German club, Grujic has scored seven goals and picked up two assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).
Now that the Serbian is in his second loan spell at Hertha, some Liverpool fans think next year would be a good time for Jurgen Klopp to integrate Grujic in his squad, despite his last appearance for the club coming back in 2017.
Still unclear why he isn’t the direct deputy for Fab… kid is good, he has it, he’s so much more under control, and he will get so much better by playing with the squad…

What do we think?
Given that the likes of Lallana and Milner are both now over 30 and with their contracts set to expire this summer, maybe next season could see the pair depart Liverpool with Grujic taking up one of their places in the midfield.
The Serbian has shown he has what it take to compete at a high level, but it is ultimately up to Klopp to decide if Grujic is ready to join the Liverpool squad permanently.
