Liverpool fans have been gushing on Twitter over the latest performance by Trent Alexander-Arnold in Wednesday’s Merseyside derby win.
This comes after the Englishman’s stunning display in the 5-2 victory over Marco Silva’s Everton at Anfield.
The right-back’s performance caught the eye of many Liverpool fans who felt the need to tweet their delight with him.
Is Trent Alexander-Arnold the best full-back in the world right now?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans praising Alexander-Arnold on Twitter:
Trent Alexander-Arnold is such a phenomenal footballer. Lives and breathes LFC, he’s on of (if not THE) top player in his position. Can he improve? Of course, there are a few holes on his game. Then again the last is only 21.
Wouldnt trade him for any Fullback in the world.

I swear Trent has equal if not better vision for passing than Gerrard did for us. We have such a complete squad that his strengths really do shine. #LFC

The 21-year-old helped set up Liverpool’s second goal of the game with a delicious long-range cross-field pass over to Sadio Mane, who then set up Xherdan Shaqiri to slide the ball past Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to put the Reds two goals to the good.
His performance received a rating of 7.4 (WhoScored) and fans were clearly delighted with him.
It’s almost 2020 and people still think that Trent Alexander Arnold can’t defend

What do we think?
Alexander-Arnold’s ability for long-range passes is unlike any other full-back in the Premier League right now. For a 21-year-old, he is arguably one of the most talented young footballers in the world right now, so it comes as no surprise that so many Liverpool fans worship him.
