Some Celtic fans are fuming at the comments made by Kris Boyd following the club’s loss in the Premiership in the Old Firm derby on Sunday.
The Hoops ended up denting their hopes of winning the Premiership title once again. They are only two points ahead of the Gers in the table and Steven Gerrard’s men are now with a game in hand. If they win their game in hand, they would be at the top of the league.
Celtic’s goal against Rangers came in controversial fashion. The ball apparently hit Odsonne Edouard’s hand before the Frenchman scored. And Kris Boyd was shocked that the goal was given.
Celtic fans: Is Boyd right?
He is spot on
He's nonsense
But his comments haven’t gone down well with Hoops fans. They are bashing Boyd for it.
Grumpy Kris Boyd is hilarious to watch

The Hoops have now suffered two losses in the Premiership this season and the loss to the Gers was their second of the campaign. And this defeat came over two weeks after their first one, which saw them lose away from home to Livingston.
In the Europa League, they’ve already made it to the next round of the competition by finishing at the top of their group for the first time in history. But they didn’t go unbeaten towards the end, losing to Cluj in the last game of the group stage round.
They’ve already won the League Cup by beating Rangers themselves in the final by a 1-0 margin. The game had seen Alfredo Morelos miss a penalty, with Christopher Jullien scoring a second-half goal to win the game.
What do we think?
The ball did hit Edouard’s hands and Boyd was right to be surprised about how it was given. But that doesn’t matter now that they’ve already lost the game. The missed penalty cost them much more than anything.
