Some Celtic fans can’t stop laughing at a ‘fantastic’ video that has gone viral on social media.

The Hoops won the Scottish League Cup on Sunday, as a second-half Christopher Jullien goal saw them pick up their 19th title in history (BBC).

Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos was in the thick of things as the Colombian missed multiple chances and saw Fraser Forster save one of his penalties. However, the Hoops did see Jeremie Frimpong shown a red card and sent off in the game too.

But Celtic fans can’t stop but poke fun at the striker, as a video about him missing his chances on Sunday has gone viral.

In the League Cup final, Rangers had 16 shots on goal and seven of them were on target. Despite that, they could not find the back of the net. Neil Lennon’s men, on the other hand, had just five shots on goal and one was on target. That led to Jullien’s second-half goal.

Celtic fans: Is Edouard better than Morelos?

Morelos is better!

Morelos is better!

The Hoops have scored the most number of goals in the Scottish Premiership this season, finding the back of the net 46 times, while Rangers have scored one goal less at 45. Out of those 45, it is Morelos himself who has scored ten in the Premiership.

As for Celtic, midfielder Ryan Christie has scored nine times in the Premiership. Whereas Odsonne Edouard has scored nine times too– one less than Morelos.

What do we think?

Morelos has been involved in as many 101 goals for Rangers in all competitions. 73 of them have been goals. But one thing that lets him down is that Morelos has played eight times against Celtic, but hasn’t scored a single goal out of all of those. He has to do more in that regard and the fact that he missed a penalty on Sunday won’t help his reputation. Indeed, it’s no wonder why so many of the Celtic faithful were laughing at the South American’s expense.
