Birmingham City currently sit 13th in the Championship right now. It is not a glamorous position, but the team are 12 points clear of a relegation spot. Their place in the dead centre of the table is a comfortable one (Sky Sports).

But one thing Birmingham fans are able to get excited about is Jude Bellingham. The 16-year-old became the youngest ever player and goal-scorer in the Championship history in his first season (Championship). Fans have high hopes for the players, with one supporter joking that if he cheated the system like other players he might earn an England call-up.

Do you think Jude Bellingham will stay at Birmingham for a few more years?

Other fans are worried that the player’s exceptional performances will garner too much-unwanted attention. They worry that Bellingham could get swooped up in January. Their main concern will be to keep hold of him.

What do we think?

At 16 years of age, the player still has a long way to go before hitting his prime. If he can continue his momentum, however, Birmingham fans will have good cause to demand that he stays at the club. Indeed, if the £2.25m-rated (as per TransferMarkt) talent does stay and continues to produce the performances he has been recently, then St. Andrews could be rocking when he is on the ball.
