Some Celtic fans are expressing their disappointment about the ownership of the club following their recent 2-1 loss in the Premiership on Sunday.
The Hoops risked their chances of winning the Premiership at the weekend. Minutes after Ryan Christie had missed a penalty, Ryan Kent scored for Rangers. While Odsonne Edouard equalized before half-time, a second-half goal from Nikola Katic saw them pick up all three points.
This has left many Hoops fans frustrated. The Gers have a game in hand and if they win it, they will be at the top of the table and in line to win the Premiership.
Celtic fans: Do you trust Lawell?
Never, he's useless
We'll get it right
This has left many Celtic fans fuming at the club’s owner Peter Lawell.
Btw them beating us at home means peter lawell has to dip in to his pockets not like he hasnt already (jullien, boli, frimpong, Elhamed, taylor, eddy) he has spent but people want 20 million signings which is not going to happen. We inly want one thing peter (victor wanyama)

Lennon is not capable of getting the best out of players and this is now obvious. Peter Lawell needs to commit to investment or Rangers will win the league.

Said it many times. Neil Lennon is tactically inept, Celtic have celebrated their last silverware under that rodent. Peter Lawell is utterly clueless and we need Dan pressure to oust the pair of them else 2012 will prosper.

Need signings….not just to shore us up, or plug a gap, but to actually make us a better side….
Over to you Peter Lawell, do you want 9…10iar or is Sevco takin this title good for business?— Mac Thomais… (@MacTomas67) December 30, 2019
We do need to strengthen big man, surely Lawell can see that

Secondly, time for Lawell to step up, this transfer window his most important yet. The summer window was generally poor following the wrong managerial appointment.

The Hoops have now lost two games in the Premiership so far this season. The loss to Rangers was the club’s first since they lost away to Livingston away from home back in October. In the UEFA Europa League, they have already qualified for the next round of the competition. But they weren’t unbeaten while finishing top of the group. They lost to Cluj in the last game of the first round.
This is Neil Lennon’s first full season in charge at the club since returning at late February earlier this year. The Hoops have scored 55 goals in the Premiership this season and that is the best tally in the league so far. They have let in 13 goals and Rangers have the best defensive record, having let in only 11 goals.
They did beat the Gers in the final of the Scottish League Cup earlier this month. While Alfredo Morelos had missed a penalty, a Christopher Jullien winner had won them the 19th League Cup title.
What do we think?
Celtic have to rely on Peter Lawell in the upcoming month and they need to get their signings spot on. If they don’t, they are risking their position at the very top of the Scottish football structure and many fans will not be happy with it.
