The goal came after an incident that took place in the first half that grabbed all the headlines when a Birmingham fan ran onto the pitch and punched Grealish in the head. In the second half, Grealish scored the wonderful goal that secured Dean Smith’s side the win against their bitter rivals. With the footage of the goal doing the rounds on Twitter again, it has given some Villa fans the opportunity to reflect on the goal.

What do we think?
To get attacked by a fan in the first half by a rival fan then score the winner in the second half must have been an incredible moment for Grealish. It’s certainly a day a lot of people involved with the club will remember for a long time and is clearly still fresh in the minds of fans.
