Aston Villa fans have been pleading with the club on Twitter to sign Said Benrahma in the upcoming January transfer window.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally reported by Birmingham Live that Villa are likely to sign a winger in January.
This post then gathered some replies from Villa fans who suggested the club should sign the Brentford winger.
Should Aston Villa sign Said Benrahma in January?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Villa fans wanting Benrahma to sign in January:
Bowen/Benrahma and a striker. Broendby’s Wilczek or Pi?tek on loan for me

Can Benrahma play as a striker?

The 24-year-old winger, who is currently valued at £7.2 million, according to Transfermarkt, has been a star player for Dean Smith’s former side Brentford so far this season. In 16 appearances, Benrahma has scored three goals and made four assists playing on both the left and right-wing (per Transfermarkt).
Now with the January transfer window just a month away, some Villa fans would like to see Benrahma make the move to Villa Park.
Benrahma pls.

Giroud and Benrahma would be a solid window imo

What do we think?
If Villa do sign a winger instead of a striker, Benrahma would be a suitable option to join the Birmingham side. The only issue would be if the Algerian would be able to get up to speed with the Premier League and integrate himself into dean Smith’s side halfway through the season.
It would be a tough challenge but if he can pull it off it would surely boost Villa’s chances of survival in the top tier.
