Not having McGinn in the team will not be the cause of our demise.
The insistence of playing a lone striker in a 4-3-3 system that leaves him isolated and our fullbacks exposed will be!— chris darlaston (@cdarl67) December 22, 2019
The Scottish midfielder was taken off with the injury in Villa’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton at Villa Park on Saturday.
Indeed, the latest news of him fracturing his ankle and likely to be sidelined for three months got a lot of Villa fans talking on Twitter.
It was the perfect game to give him a rest , his last 3 games he has not been the Mcginn we know. , Never mind will will play a defensive midfielder in his position , and hope for the best that our poor tactics and predictability works again

Yeah it’s a blow but I think we can do without him, with a decent signing in January, we will be alright, cause let’s be honest, he hasn’t been in the best form and grealish has stole the show, and we still have grealish.

What do we think?
McGinn’s injury was a big blow for Villa on Saturday, but with recent reports suggesting that the midfielder had been playing for Villa in recent weeks with a slight injury, maybe now will be the time for McGinn to get a suitable rest and recover stronger than before.
