Aston Villa fans have been criticising John Terry after the club’s poor defensive record continues.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying news from BBC Sport that Villa have conceded more headed goals and goals from corners than any other Premier League team so far this season.
This post then gathered a number of replies from unhappy Villa fans who started to question John Terry’s influence at the club as Dean Smith’s assistant coach.
Should John Terry be blamed for Villa's defensive issues?

Villa lost 3-1 to relegation rivals Southampton at Villa Park on Saturday. The visitor’s second goal of the game came after a powerful header from Jack Stephens caught Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton off guard. Now that it was revealed that Villa have the worst record for conceding headed goals, some Villa fans have been pointing the finger at Terry.

What do we think?
You’d think that with Terry’s plethora of Premier League experience as one of England’s greatest centre-halves that he would be having some sort of impact on Villa’s defence. But with this latest statistic proving otherwise, it’s no wonder the Villa fans have been calling him into question.
