Aston Villa fans have been calling on Twitter for Jonathan Kodjia to start in Villa’s next match at the weekend.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page asking their followers what they thought of the club’s 5-0 win over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.
This post then led to many Villa fans replying with their opinions on the match, specifically with their hopes to see goalscorer Kodjia start in their next game.

The 30-year-old scored a brace for Villa in the match on just his fifth appearance for Dean Smith side so far this season in all competitions (per TransferMarkt). Despite not being a regular performer for Villa since their promotion back to the Premier League, some fans were impressed with what they saw from the striker.
Just about spot on. Confidence of a win and goals for Wesley and Kodja

What do we think?
It’s great that Kodjia, who is valued at £3.6 million (as per Transfermarkt), took his chances but it won’t mean much unless he can carry that goalscoring form into the Premier League. Smith will have to make the decision on who should play in the centre-forward position at the weekend, midweek hero Kodjia or the usual choice of Wesley.
