Spurs fans were treated to some images of Mauricio Pochettino meeting up with footballing legend and current Gimnasia manager Diego Maradonna this week.
The images were shared by Gimnasia’s official twitter page (via Alasdair Gold), and show Pochettino with his Argentine compatriot Maradonna. The former Spurs boss is currently taking a break from football management following his sacking from the North London club in November, but Spurs fans are still keeping a close eye on the 47-year-old.
Pochettino was originally appointed Spurs boss after leaving Southampton in 2014 and helped to establish the club as a regular Champions League outfit during his five years at the club. He famously led Spurs to the Champions League final in May after an incredible run but struggled to rebuild his squad over the summer and was ultimately sacked by Daniel Levy after a dreadful start to the Premier League campaign.

Spurs fans were clearly glad to see Pochettino looking happy and healthy and will be hoping to see him back in management soon.
