Sheffield United fans would be forgiven for being disappointed at drawing with Watford on Boxing Day. Before the match, Watford were at the bottom of the league while Sheffield United were in fifth (Sky Sports). But with Chris Wilder’s side being newly promoted, they must remember how far they have actually come.
“Fantastic attitude to get back in, just a little disappointed we never went through the gears in the second half,” said Wilder in a post-match interview (Sheffield United).
Fans were pleased with his grace and decorum in the interview. He spoke honestly and they appreciate his realism.
Fair assessment from the gaffer.
If we can’t manage a win just try to get out of the game with a point.

Correct. Can’t complain. Just needed someone to change the game for either side.

You aren’t going to win every single game.. keep aspirations realistic

Are you satisfied with a point against Watford after that performance?
Yes
No
Some fans suggest that every point in the Premier League is a precious one.
Spot on as ever CW. We were never in control of the game. A point is positive

A point is precious in the PL!

What do we think?
While they would have been expecting a win, a draw during a busy time of the season is precious for any team. With back to back games against Manchester City and Liverpool coming up, Wilder will be thrilled if he can get results in either of those games.
