These Newcastle United fans have reacted to Elias Sorensen being recalled by the club from Carlisle United.
Sorensen had played seven matches in League Two for Carlisle before being recalled back to Newcastle United, which seems a shame given he was getting some game time in a competitive league and will now likely just play in the development leagues.

Some of these fans believe the game time Sorensen was receiving isn’t enough for a player of his level, although a team like Carlisle can’t always risk playing youth.

What Do We Think?
These Newcastle fans clearly feel it’s better for Elias Sorensen to be playing in the academy ranks, rather than not playing regularly in League Two, which is a big surprise as there really is no substitute to actual competitive football.
We would at least consider loaning him out again as soon as possible, as playing real league football is so important to a players progression.
