Kelechi Iheanacho was handed a rare Premier League start at Villa Park on Sunday and he repaid Brendan Rodgers’ faith in him by scoring his second goal in his last two appearances to double the Foxes lead just before the break.
Goals aside, however, the clubs supporters will be pleased to have seen a good understanding on the pitch between the Nigerian and in-form striker Jamie Vardy proving that they can play together.
Should Iheanacho start versus Norwich at the weekend?

What do we think?
Kelechi Iheanacho has had a difficult time since joining Leicester City, he’s not had anywhere near the amount of game time he would have liked and considering that was, perhaps, the primary reason he left Manchester City, he will have been extremely frustrated in recent months.
However, the £10.8m-rated-striker has been handed a couple of opportunities in recent weeks and to his credit, he has grasped them with both hands – giving Brendan Rodgers the kind of problem managers secretly hope for.
During the win over Aston Villa, the 23-year-old and Jamie Vardy showed a good understanding of each other’s movement and their ability to lead the line in unison provides the former Liverpool boss with options.
December will be a difficult month and if the Foxes are to keep the pace with the league leaders they will need to utilise their squad effectively, therefore, Iheanacho’s upturn in performances has come at the perfect time.
