Fans of Everton have reacted to the latest details which have been released surrounding Carlo Ancelotti’s contract deal with the Toffees.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport and Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness, the 60-year-old Italian will earn €6 million per year (£5.1m) on a four-and-a-half year contract which will see his first game in charge be against Burnley on Boxing Day (via Sean Lunt).
With the news breaking that a deal for the former Real Madrid is essentially all tied up, meaning that an announcement grows ever closer, they were delighted.
Carlo Ancelotti – Four and a half year deal agreed, €28m in total, €6m per year. Has ‘assurances’ over transfer windows and Moise Kean in particular. Should things go to plan, he’ll be in charge for Burnley game on Boxing Day.

Is Carlo Ancelotti going to be a successful manager with the Toffees?Yes, absolutelyNo, no chance |
However, some supporters were unsure whether or not Ancelotti was the correct direction for the club to be heading in and aired their concerns that the move looks to be nearing completion.

The tweet also alluded to the fact that the Italian was keen for some assurances on one of his countrymen currently playing for the club, Moise Kean (via Sean Lunt).
What’s the ‘assurance’ over Kean? He stays or is shipped out??

Probably that they won’t sell him in Jan as he will want to work with him

What do we think?
While some people seem keen to pour cold water on any excitement for Toffees fans, this could be big for the Goodison Park club and even if it all goes wrong it was certainly worth the punt on who is, without a doubt, a world-class manager.
