Esteban Cambiasso may have only spent one season at the King Power Stadium with Leicester City but the Argentinian played a huge role in the club’s first season back in the Premier League.
The former Real Madrid and Inter star was named the club’s Player of the Year that season as voted by the supporters, but it was always going to be difficult for him to maintain his performances as his peak years were arguably behind him and he has since retired.
Leicester City’s official Twitter account shared a video of Cambiasso’s goal at Goodison Park that season and that prompted the supporters to reminisce about the midfielders successful spell with the club.

What do we think?
Cambiasso’s time with Leicester City was brief but his impact during a difficult season should not be overlooked. He brought a wealth of experience and passion to the side and also scored some vital goals to ensure the club survived it’s first season back in the Premier League.
He managed five goals in his 33 appearances for the Foxes and, perhaps, remains one of the best bits of business the club have done in the modern era based on the immediate impact he had.
