Supporters of Everton have gushed over a photo of Marcel Brands and Carlo Ancelotti that was posted to the club’s account following Ancelotti’s appointment.
The 60-year-old Italian was appointed by the club on Saturday (per BBC) and following that the Toffees posted a picture of their new gaffer with the club’s Dutch director of football (per Everton).
With supporters excited over what the future will hold for the Merseyside club, they were ecstatic to see the two men that will be leading the club pictured together.

The former Real Madrid manager has been appointed at Goodison Park on a four-and-a-half-year contract and will be at the helm of his first game against Burnley on Boxing Day (per Everton).

What do we think?
Well, people said it could not be done. Then, when it looked like it would be done, they said it would not be worth doing. However, the Toffees are now in the best possible hands for success and it will be exciting to see where Ancelotti takes Everton.
