Fans of Everton have praised Jordan Pickford following the Toffees claiming a point at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Despite conceding midway through the second half, after going a goal ahead, to level the scored against Manchester United, the England stopper held fast to keep a firm grip on a point (via Sky Sports).
Following the game, the 25-year-old goalkeeper posted to Twitter praising the side’s performance and turning attention towards the next game (per Jordan Pickford), which afforded the Goodison Park faithful the chance to buzz over their stopper.

Despite conceding Mason Greenwood’s pinpoint strike, Pickford had to make a string of fine saves to keep Everton in the game and was rewarded with a 7/10 performance rating for his troubles (per Liverpool Echo).
So far this term, the Englishman has kept only five clean sheets in 20 appearances, having conceded 31 goals in the 15 games where he has not been able to keep the ball out of the net (as per Transfermarkt).
Although having a somewhat under par record for the season so far, Everton fans were still delighted to see their 25-year-old ‘keeper come up big for the club when needed.

What do we think?
While Pickford may not have been able to totally capture the form he would have been desiring so far this term, he was impressive at Old Trafford and hopefully for all in the blue half of Merseyside he can continue in that fashion.
