As the match was coming to a close, Crystal Palace fans would have likely been coming to terms with settling for a draw against West Ham. The game was tied 1-1 up until the 90th minute. That’s when Jordan Ayew scored an absolutely brilliant goal.
Crystal Palace posted the footage of the goal after the match finished, causing fans from across the world to drop their jaws at the player’s composure. He wriggled his way passed multiple opponents before dinking the ball over Roberto Jimenez. Crystal Palace fans were naturally some of the most excited.

One fan claims that if a similar goal was scored by Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo then the internet would have exploded. Another fan suggested that if it was Arsenal, Ian Wright wouldn’t have been able to stop talking about the goal on Match of the Day.

What do we think?
It was truly a beautiful goal. If it does win goal of the season there can’t be too many fans who could disagree. But with half of the season still to play, there is still plenty of time for someone to top it though.
