Rangers’ recent results have impressed fans greatly. The Gers’ win against Hearts in the Scottish League Cup semi-final was the team’s sixth game unbeaten in a row. The team have only lost two games so far this season (WhoScored.com).

This run of form has set Steven Gerrard’s team up nicely heading into the winter months, but a tricky fixture list stands in their way. The two teams Rangers have lost to this season are Celtic and Young Boys. Gerrard will face Celtic twice and Young Boys once during the month of December.

Some fans see this as a pivotal point in the team’s season. Should they come out of it with a good number of wins, the team could make a convincing run at their 55th league title, in the eyes of the fans.

One fan isn’t worried, claiming that he expects nothing less than 12 wins out of 12. Others are relishing the opportunity of facing their rivals twice during the Christmas season.

What do we think?

There is no doubt that December will be a tricky month for Gerrard. Fitness will be a huge part of what determines the manager’s success. If every player can stay fit, this team has shown their ability to take points away from any game.
