While the game itself was brilliant, the atmosphere at Hampden Park was enough to get the fans excited. With 38,500 Rangers fans cheering them on, Steven Gerrard’s team had all the motivation in the world to win.
The game finished in a 3-0 win for Rangers, sending the team to the Scottish League Cup Final, where Steven Gerrard will look to win his first piece of silverware as Rangers manager. The performance was great, but these fans couldn’t get over the support from the Gers fans away from Ibrox.

With the supporters back at their home ground against Porto, Ibrox will surely be buzzing for European football. Gerrard managed to come back to Glasgow with a point from Portugal, so with the home support behind their backs, the players will be looking for all three on Thursday.
