Rangers were once again on the right side of the scoreline when they beat Livingston 2-0 on the weekend. Goals from Joe Aribo and Alfredo Morelos helped secure a comfortable victory for the Gers heading into the international break.
Going into the two-week-lul tied on points with their rivals is a massive boost for Steven Gerrard’s men. Should their momentum continue through to the end of the calendar year, they will have a great chance of challenging for every tournament they are in this season.
One performance that stood out in particular for fans was that of James Tavernier. The skipper, who is valued at £5.4 million (Transfermarkt), was going through a rough patch near the end of October (Sky Sports). He seems to have won fans back after the club’s winning run though.
These fans were quick to share their support:

Some fans praised the captain’s ability to rally his team to a victory despite facing an extremely physical side on a horrible playing surface.

What do we think?
It is great to see the Rangers supporters backing their captain once again. He has made quite the turn around in recent weeks, with the team keeping clean sheets in their last four matches (WhoScored.com).
