Graeme Murty’s Rangers youth won yet another game during their midweek fixture versus Slovan Bratislava. The young team won the game 2-1 thanks to two goals from Nathan Young-Coombes.
The youngster has been on fine form recently. His goal contributions have been a real asset to Murty’s side. Supporters are convinced that Young-Coombes has done enough to earn a spot on Steven Gerrard’s bench.

Sounds like the young man has a decent head on his shoulders and a confident lad too . Think there were big things thought of him when he arrived from down south. Hopefully he keeps progressing

Do you think Young-Coombes deserves a first-team call-up?
Should Nathan Young-Coombes be on Gerrard's bench?
Yes
No
Not only do some supports think he can make the leap to the first team, some believe he has the potential to be one of the team’s best players in the future.
The best player in the world

What do we think?
With the first-team playing so well, it says a lot that supporters are calling for him to be brought into Gerrard’s squad. While there may not be an opportunity for him to start right now, it seems as if Gerrard must at least contemplate integrating him into his side. Hopefully, for Young-Coombes, his opportunity will come sooner rather than later.
