Last night, the Rangers development side beat Partick Thistle 3-0. During the match, Cameron Gascoigne made a trial appearance for the Gers, according to Four Lads Had a Dream. The player, of course, is the nephew of the infamous Paul Gascoigne.
There has been no confirmation of how the player did during his outing, but fans did share their reactions. They suggest that if he is anywhere near as good as his uncle, he has a real chance of finding success at Ibrox. A few fans claim that the young player is the real deal.
If he’s even got 1% of the talent his uncle had then we have got a cracking player

Others suggest and bringing another Gascoigne into the club would be a marketing dream. A few others remember the legendary player from back in the day. One calls him the greatest player to ever play for the team.
Think of the money we would make in shirt sales if the boy made it and fans were buying shirts with “Gascoigne 8” on the back again. Marketing managers dream.

Ah right that guy. Not a bad player back in the day from what I’ve heard.

What do we think?
If the younger Gascoigne can impress Rangers management and coaching staff, then fans will surely relish the chance of watching another member of the Gascoigne family playing at Ibrox. But with the current team playing as well as they are, there are not many opportunities for players to break into the first-team.
