Everton supporters have pleaded with the Toffees hierarchy to replace Marco Silva with former Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino.
On Tuesday night, the Argentine manager was relieved of his duties in North London (per BBC), after seeing his side slip to 14th in the Premier League table (via Sky Sports).
With the news of the 47-year-old’s departure still hot off the presses, the Goodison Park faithful were tapping up their wishes for an early Christmas present.
Get him @Everton

The last of the three tweets was indeed accurate, as Spurs appointed their new Portuguese gaffer, Jose Mourinho, this morning (via Tottenham Hotspur).
Having guided Spurs to the Champions League final at the end of last season (via The Telegraph), Pochettino’s record speaks for itself, with many requesting his arrival in Merseyside.
Get him in NOW!!!

What do we think?
Like the supporters of many clubs will be wishing this morning, Everton fans were not the first and will not be the last to want to see the Argentine brought in.
However, sadly for the Goodison Park club that is more likely to remain a pipedream for now, with clubs such as Bayern Munich touted as his next possible destination (per The Guardian).
